What trains and buses go to Cooperstown?
There is no train service to Cooperstown. However, Amtrak does provide service to Utica (approximately 40 miles from Cooperstown) and Albany (approximately 70 miles from Cooperstown). How long does it take to visit the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum?
Each museum visitor is different and thus it is impossible to determine the proper amount of time to set aside for your visit. The casual baseball fan might spend half a day at the Hall of Fame and Museum, while the more serious baseball buff could well spend two days and still come back for more! If in doubt, give yourself an extra day and if you find that you have time to spare, check out the other interesting museums, attractions, stores, and restaurants in the area.

Where should I park in Cooperstown?
During the summer, the Cooperstown Trolley service operates continuously from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. The trolley makes stops at three free parking lots as well as numerous locations throughout the village. Unlimited daily trolley passes are $3 for adults and $1 for children (ages 12 and under). Free parking lots are designated by blue "Park and Take the Trolley" signs and can be found at three convenient locations:
* Blue Lot (if traveling north from Oneonta): off Route 28 just south of Cooperstown
* Red Lot (if traveling south on Rte. 28 from Rte. 20): off Route 28 (Glen Ave.) at Maple Street
* Yellow Lot (if traveling south on Rte. 80 from Rte. 20):on Route 80 at upper parking lot of Fenimore Art Museum.
What are the nearest airports to Cooperstown?
Both Albany International Airport in Albany, N.Y., and Syracuse Hancock International Airport in Syracuse, N.Y., are approximately 90 miles from Cooperstown.

May I use my still or video camera in the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum?
We encourage visitors to use their still or video cameras for non-commercial and non-media use everywhere in the Museum except for the Grandstand Theater. Tripods are allowed, but only when they do not impede the traffic flow of other Museum visitors, especially during busy hours. If you are a member of the media or you would like to film in the Museum for commercial use, please contact the Hall of Fame.
